Today is Pentecost Sunday. By Diocesan Regulation, a collection is made up of offerings from the special “Pentecost Envelopes” and the open collection for that Sunday. The collection is presented to the Assistant Curate as a form of thanks for their ministry among us. Please give generously. (A Pentecost Envelope is in your box of Offering Envelopes or one may be obtained from the Ushers).
Congratulations to Mrs. Shirley Sands, who was honored by the Anglican Church Women Council on Saturday past, at a Luncheon, under the Patronage of Bishop Laish Boyd, the Patron of the Anglican
Church Women, and Mrs. Joann Boyd. Mrs. Sands, along with 22 other Past Presidents, some posthumously, was recognized for serving as an ACW President in 1973 .
They were lauded as visionaries, instrumental in building up the Council and their local branches.
To Mrs. Charlene Rodgers, who was returned for a third year, as ACW Council President and Mrs. Kimley Dean, who was elected Assistant Secretary to the Council. Mrs. Rodgers served as Christ The King ACW
President from 2019-2022, and Mrs. Dean is the Branch’s current President.

Please be advised that members or relatives of members who are sick or have been admitted to the hospital and desire the pastoral care of the Church, are asked to make it known by contacting the clergy or the Church Office. It is uncharitable to be in such a state and have not gone through the proper protocol but expect the relevant persons to be aware. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Please be advised that effective 1st May 2023, the following will ensue:
Holy Communion will revert to 2 kinds, Body and Blood. Persons who are not comfortable with the cup at this time may continue to receive the Body of Christ in one kind. This is still receiving full Holy Communion.
Holy Water Stoups
Holy water will be placed in the stoups (or fonts) at the church doors. Greeting of Peace Worshippers may be encouraged to resume shaking hands and hugging at the Greeting of Peace, as they are comfortable. Those who do not wish any physical contact may continue to share the peace with the waving of a hand, a bow, the bump of a fist, or some other appropriate gesture.
Holy Baptism will be administered during the liturgy.
Worshippers must continue to sanitize their hands upon entering the church and as they approach Holy Communion.
Viewing of Bodies at Funerals
Parishes may return to allowing the viewing of bodies in the church building before funeral services.
Covid-19 is still a reality in our world. The Church, as a responsible organization, must remain vigilant and cautious, willing to pay attention to any restrictions that may be necessary in the future, but also willing to approach and maintain normalcy to the best of her ability.
